Some fun.

I’ve still been playing with pens.

Also I’ve been playing with paint.

It’s fun.

Playing with Pens

Most of my creative time the past couple of days has been spent mucking about with pens.

Here’s two wee examples of what I’ve been up to;

It’s a nice change from painting etc.

Another Flower.

Wee Flower.

Here’s yesterdays painting.

I decided to keep it simple so I could split my concentration between painting and watching the Spanish Grand Prix.

Necklaces.

Yesterday I made two necklaces.

I prefer the second, though maybe Charlies excellent modelling influenced me.

Kinshaldy.

Finished wee project.

Inspired by the sand dunes at Kinshaldy Beach/Tentsmuir Forest, Fife, Scotland.

It’s Raining.

A stormy painting inspired by all the rain we (Scotland, specifically Fife) have been having this past few days.

Two in One.

On Tuesday I started a few paintings and made a nice wee beaded necklace.

The paintings are still in progress.

Yesterday I finished off a painting I started a week or so ago, it’s nice enough.

I’m now trying to decide what todays creative activity will be. Hmm.

Balmerino Abbey.

A rather nasty migraine yesterday kept me away from my trusty laptop all day, so here is the post I intended to write.

On Monday – taking advantage of the bank holiday – I went a wee trip up to Dundee with the parents, followed by a jaunt to Newport-on-Tay and a short adventure out to Balmerino Abbey. It was nice enough, the weather wasn’t always ideal but that’s to be expected from Scottish weather. I decided to take a few pictures at the Abbey as my” creative thingy of the day”. So, here they are.

I’d like to visit again with my other camera when the weather is better.

On the way home I stopped to take a picture of this guy, he seemed a friendly sort.

Wee Beads.

Yesterdays creation was a memory wire necklace, a nice, simple, colourful one.
